The web app needs nothing but a browser. The Windows build adds offline downloads, an external-player escape hatch and native window integration. Both are free, with every feature included and no account required.

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • Per-user install, no admin prompt
  • Roughly 250 MB on disk
  • Free, no account, no ads
Platforms

Windows today, more devices on the way

The desktop app is ready for Windows now. Native apps for mobile and the living room are in development — and the web app already runs on everything in between.

What the desktop adds

Everything the web app does, plus the things a browser cannot

The two builds share the same product and the same features. These four are the pieces that only a native app can deliver.

  • Offline downloads

Queue HTTP and torrent downloads for offline playback, then play any finished download straight in the app. Downloads are a desktop-only feature.

  • External-player escape hatch

Hand any stream to VLC, mpv or MPC-HC when a codec will not decode in the browser, so an exotic format is never a dead end.

  • Native window and media keys

Real window controls, hardware media keys and Windows now-playing metadata, so Noxstream behaves like the rest of your desktop.

  • Automatic updates

Installed builds check for updates on launch, download them in the background and install on quit, so you stay current without lifting a finger.

Not on Windows?

Use the web app anywhere

Noxstream runs fully in any modern browser, on any operating system, with nothing to install. It is the same library, the same player and the same addons. With an account, it even syncs with your desktop.
