A promise about money
Noxstream will not have a paid tier, donor-only features or ads. A gift never buys influence over the roadmap and it never gates anything: the person who gives nothing gets exactly the same app. Donations are handled by a third-party provider, so Noxstreamnever sees your payment details, and the app stays free, with no account, no ads and no tracking. If support ever outgrows the costs, the surplus simply goes into building more of what is on the roadmap.

No, and that is on purpose. Noxstream has no paid tier, no donor-only features and no perks to buy. Every feature is already free for everyone. Donating is a thank-you, not a transaction, and it never changes what the app can do.
Is Noxstream really free?
Yes, completely. The web app and the Windows desktop build are 100% free, with no account, no ads, no paywall, no premium tier and no checkout. Staying free is a standing decision, not a limited promotion.
Where does the money go?
Straight into Noxstream itself. Most of it funds development time and the mobile and TV roadmap; the rest covers the modest sync server and domain. Hosting is near-zero by design, because the optional sync server stores only encrypted data.
Do I need an account to donate?
No. Donations go through a third-party provider and never require an Noxstream account. You also do not need an account to use the app: you can open the web app and start watching without signing up for anything.
Can I help without spending money?
Absolutely. Telling a friend, sharing Noxstream online and sending thoughtful feedback all help a great deal and cost nothing. The most valuable support is often just people using and sharing the app.
